Uganda is a home to variety of primate species inhabiting the Kibale Forest commonly referred to as the “Primate’s Capital of the World” This is because of its highest concentration of primates than any other place in the world and in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest a home to over half of the world’s remaining population of the rare mountain Gorillas, In this  intinerary, you will track the chimpanzees and other primates in Kibale forest National Park and thereafter proceed for Gorilla tracking experience in Bwindi impenetrable National Park.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer.

Met by our staff and thereafter transferred to Boma Hotel/ airport guest house for an overnight and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Kampala To Kibale Forest National Park.

After your breakfast, start your panoramic ride south west of Kampala to Kibale National park, passing through beautiful scenery and the tea estate as you approach Fort portal town. You will have stop over for lunch at Fort portal and then proceed to Ndali lodge/ Kibale forest and for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking At Kibale Forest National Park

After your breakfast, proceed for a brief by the guides and rangers on how to conduct yourself during the chimpanzee tracking experience, you will then be led by the guide into kibale forest for your chimpanzee tracking experience, during your chimpanzee tracking experience, you may also encounter other primate species such as black and white Colobus monkeys, red colobus monkeys as well as different bird species that may also be encountered during the chimpanzee tracking experience. After tracking you will proceed to Tinka’s home stead for locally prepared lunch cuisine and thereafter proceed for a Bigodi Swamp walk. You will encounter different bird species including the rare shoe bill Stork as well as other primate’s species such as the black and white colobus monkeys, velvet and red colobus monkeys. Return to Ndali or Kibale forest camp for your dinner and overnight.


Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable

Forest for Gorilla tracking experience

This day you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. This park is located in the south western part of the country and is a home to over half of the remaining population of the rare mountain Gorillas. You will pass via the beautiful scenery of the Kigezi hills community referred to as the ‘’Switzerland of Africa’’ with beautiful farm terraces. Check in later in the evening at clouds lodge/ Haven lodge or Buhoma community rest camp.

Day 5: Gorilla Tracking In Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

After breakfast and well equipped with your packed lunch, proceed to the park head quarters for a briefing and orientation on how to conduct yourself before and after gorilla tracking experience, you will be then separated into groups. The guide will lead you through the forest for gorilla tracking experience depending on time you may also have community tour for the local Batwa communities who inhabit the forests for Cultural experiences.

Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at Clouds lodge, Haven lodge Buhoma community rest camp.

Day 7: Bwindi to Kampala and Transfer.

Start your day with an early morning breakfast and thereafter prepare for a transfer back to Kampala, you will have a stopover at equator for photographs and lunch and then proceed to Kampala. Arrive in time for a transfer to Entebbe International Airport to catch up with your international flight.




Accommodation full board, all ground transport, airport picks and transfers meals enroute, swamp walk at Bigodi, African lunch at Tinka’s place.



Gorilla tracking permits $600 in high season. Chip tracking permits $150 international flight fares, tips and beverages, items of personal use, travel insurance.
